exit through the gift shop

1. I think the movie is genuine. If it was a mockumentary Banksy would do the documentary just to show people the main point of the movie. This is also so that he doesn't give the identity of any graffiti artists away.

2. They are trying to brainwash them. Because when a person sees something over and over again they want it and that is just how people are created. They were basically selling their art and they were selling an ideology. I think the artists were effective in their work and they manipulated a lot of people.

3. I think he was just a sellout. I don't think there was a real reason to why he did the show just to sell himself so that he could get reporters after him. He was very effective he had over a thousand people after his "art" as it is called.

4. The street arts art has a message like don't take drugs or don't fight over nothing. "MBW" as he is called is a man whos message is love me, buy my art and put me television. HE GOT HIS WISH!!!!

5. I think there was a long line because he was the new artist in town and people had high hopes from him.

6. I think that graffiti is both art and vandalism. If someone painted on my wall I would paint over it. With guerilla marketing you manipulate same with graffiti.

Leadership styles running a business

I would use democratic leadership and when I talk to him the first thing I would ask him is why he is not working to his fullest potential. Then I would let him decide if he wants to stay in the business. After this I would let the employees decide what will happen to this guy. If they want to keep him then I would let him stay. If not then I would give him sometime to pack his things. Give him a letter that symbolizes his leaving.

Why is customer service important?

Customer service is important because it is just common courtesy. Customers are like your elders and they need to be treated with respect. If you don't they will never ever do business with you again. This will cause you to go into a financial crisis.

This video says that what makes a good business is the quality of your work and not just your role in the business. This video says that workers need to work with passion and learn together as life continues to have lessons.

ted list what i learned in physics class

Marketing has a lot of formulas. The greater your business the better it is, Newtons Law Force= mass x Acceleration, F=ma, a= f/m. The more massive an brand, more baggage it has, more force needed to change positioning. When there are particles and you shine a light on them they hide. So industries change consumers. Porn is searched by few yet is the the greatest suggestion on google. The scientific method, you cannot prove a hypothesis through observation. You can only disprove it. This means no hypothesis can be proved right but with advancement can be disproved. Increasing Entropy ds/dt > 0. A measure of disorder in a system. Your brand is dispersed so don't fight it.

The 4ps are Price, Product, Promotion, place. These are the 4ps you use when advertising a specific advertising. Attention-Interest-Desire-Action this is the AIDA concept you use when advertising to make people become interested. First picture gets all 3s (15/15). Second picture gets 3 on poster is informative, gets 3 on spelling and grammar, gets 2 on neatness, gets 2 on AIDA, gets 2 on pictures/graphics(12/15). Third poster gets 3 on poster is informative, 3 on spelling and grammar, 3 on neatness, 2 on AIDA, 1 on pictures/graphics(12/15). These are the marks hat I give to these posters. I feel like they are good posters. I like how on the coffee one they make it very boring and it catches attention once it gets onto cancer.

ways to sell a product

1. tell people what they want to hear and not what you want to write. This way they don't get bored out of the product.
2. Always tell people the positive things about the product and never include the negatives.
3. Remember to always give bonuses on the product. For example: if you purchase the magic bullet right now you can get a second magic bullet free.
4.Remeber to send emails o your customers regularly but don't spam them otherwise they wont buy from you.

agree or disagree

- I disagree with the statement because there are some people who don't use debit or credit cards to pay so the prices would still be the same without any cards or coins.
- Disagree, this could just mean you don't have enough money and you need to save up some more money in order to pay for the product.
- Disagree credit is when you buy merchandise and pay for it later than the day you are buying it.
-Agree, credit is good to use in desperate situations when you cant pay in cash or debit.

1. Planning is deciding what to do do in the future of a business and Organizing is bringing together ideas and grouping them. Staffing is trying to keep the business managed with workers and directing is like leading the workers in the business and Controlling is adding discipline into the equation. An advantage is people get to say what they would like to which causes them to feel good. A Disadvantage is that they would have a lot of arguments and not like what some of the opinions are.

Its going great right now we had our first customer who got us 10 dollars. I loved working with many teachers. Two months ago i took a religious course at the uofc and the instructor was hilarious. Not only did he do the most charlie chaplain, or Jim Carey type behaviour, he changed the mood from excitement into extreme excitement. He also made everyone cry their hearts out as he told us it was time to repent for all our sins. he said that no matter what you do no matter how extreme your sin was if you repent to God he would not only forgive you but he would also erase your sins. he motivated to work harder in my life to never lie and to always repent to God whenever I wanted to and not hate myself. In my business I can implement this by being fair with the customer.

Declining products

DVD, Blurays, VHS, etc. Any rentable or buyable movie format will very soon be extinct. Mainly because there is so much on the internet and it is easy to download and watch things without having to leave your bedroom.

That you could put whatever you want on to a bunch of pages and sort of let others know a little bit more about you. I wish we would have been given the opportunity to personalize more than 4 pages. Youth who  are my age and would like to put their interests on a page, because at our young age we like to put ideas and like to express our ideas on a page. I could tell people which website to visit and show them my yearbook and let them decide the rest.

types of ads

Ads: Radio ads, Tv ads, Magazine Ads, Posters, Info sessions. I hate the windows millenium ad, mainly because it is so long and they just go on and on about all the improvements they have made for the windows operating system even though windows millennium was their worst operating system. I like this old sprite ad from 10 years back in which they have a basketball star drinking sprite and encouraging youth  to drink sprite to become like                                                                         Bad ad
Good ad

The Windows ad doesn't work for me because it doesn't tell you what the ad is really about. You just get a picture of coloured windows that say Microsoft Windows Millennium Edition. The Apple ad works for me even though its the most basic thing i have ever seen. I like the ad because it has a very deep meaning. This ad basically says that the people at apple want you to think differently than everyone else by buying their products.

The concept of Guerrilla Marketing was invented as an unconventional system of promotions that relies on time, energy and imagination rather than a big marketing budget. Typically, guerrilla marketing campaigns are unexpected and unconventional, potentially interactive, and consumers are targeted in unexpected places. I like the quarter trick on the ground because that was really creative and it was cool. I dont know what else to say so im just gonna fill the last line up with words just to get 5/5 on the opening activity. So do i get 5/5 on the opening activity?

Tuesday, 8 November 2011

Yes i think they are right about generation Y and I think that it is good that they want consumers to buy more. We can think about how to make this more appealing for youth and not just for teachers. We want to mainly look at at youth who are not good with digital technology.

Customer service cab story

This story teaches me that customer service is about being friends with your customer and not you just serving them and them getting served. Customer loyalty is when you service a customer in the best quality you can. Customer relations is being friendly and welcoming to the customer. Customer experience is the experience the customer receives during the time you spent together. This is what i had just learned from this story.

Thursday, 3 November 2011

Yes, you can do that if it is not profitable because the money still goes to the main offices and they can pay of the debts. Because when the owners of the company has all the money then they can pay of there debts if they have any, this will cause them to want them to pay off these vile things.
